The meteoric rise of Twitter has caused some to wonder if Google’s days are numbered. Some say Twitter search has already surpassed Google in terms of importance. While I agree that Twitter search is incredibly important, I wouldn’t count Google out anytime soon. Google has shown itself to be extremely nimble in terms of staying in front of emerging technology trends and putting out new tools and services to take advantage of them. Some of you may have noticed that Google recently got an update. A new feature called "Search Wiki" has been added to search results along with an up arrow and X symbol next to each result.
Here's what Google says about it:
SearchWiki lets you customize your Google Web Search results by ranking, removing, and adding notes to them. You'll see your changes whenever you do the same searches while signed in to your Google Account, or until you decide to undo them. You can also see how other users have tailored any given search results page with their own notes and changes.
